With the right care, your solid wood furniture and décor can remain beautiful and last for generations. Here’s how to keep them looking new:

• Daily Protection
  Use a tablecloth or a thick protective cloth on dining tables or other heavily used surfaces. This will prevent wear and tear from daily use.

• Cleaning
  Dust and wipe your furniture regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using rough or harsh fabrics, as pressing them too hard may cause small scratches.

• Heat & Flame
  Never place hot objects, burning candles, or irons directly on wood surfaces. Always use candle holders to prevent melted wax or heat damage.

• Light & Temperature
  Keep your furniture away from direct sunlight and drastic temperature changes. Prolonged sun exposure can cause fading, while extreme variations can shorten the life of the wood.

• Humidity
  Avoid exposing furniture to excessive moisture or dryness. Rapid humidity changes can cause wood to expand, contract, or even crack.

• Liquids
  Always use mats and coasters under food and drinks. Do not place hot items directly on the surface. In case of spills, wipe them immediately with a dry cloth or sponge to prevent staining or warping.

• Chemicals
  Keep strong chemicals away from the wood finish, as they can damage its natural look and durability. Avoid applying polyurethane paints on solid wood.

• Minor Scratches & Burns
  Small surface damages such as scratches or burn marks can be gently treated with fine-grit sandpaper. After sanding, reapply a layer of mineral oil to restore the finish.
